Cantref Church

Address:

Cantref Church (St Cynidr & St Mary), Cantref, Brecon, LD3 8LR

Directions:

Take the Llanfrynach exit from the A40 on the east side of Brecon. Then follow the brown horseshoe signs to Cantref Adventure Farm. The Church is on your left past the Camp Cynrig Tipi Village, just before the entrance to the Adventure Farm.

Cantref is the parish at the heart of the Central Beacons; it extends right over to the other side of the Beacons and includes the peak of Pen y Fan. Although enormous in area, the parish only has a population of 90.
The Church is very simple, and has a wonderful aura of peace.
